Representatives of the Regional Education and Research Center on Earthquake Risk Management and Resilience for West and Central Asia from IIEES had a meeting with the director of the Regional Centre on Urban Water Management (RCUWM-Tehran) which has been established under the auspices of UNESCO since 2002 in Tehran-Iran, and is the oldest center covered by UNESCO in Iran, which has valuable experiences in the field of water-related projects.
In this meeting, two parties became acquainted with missions and different fields of activities of both centers. Dr. Haj Rasouliha, director of RCUWM, introduced the Regional Center and main activities of the center. Then, he continued to answer the guests’ questions regarding various research issues and policies related to the activities of the center.
IIEES while welcoming the benefit of the valuable experiences of this center, also made suggestions regarding the potential joint cooperation in the future.
