RCECWA has organized the “4th<\/sup> workshop on Earthquake Preparedness for Children with Disabilities” on November 21, 2023 in collaboration with IIEES, UNESCO and UNICEF. In this workshop the representatives of active NGOs related to PWD were invited. The educational guidelines that were developed by RCECWA were presented and discussed in this meeting and some feedbacks received from the participants to be considered for next version of the guidelines. In addition the most important challenges of children with disability in different areas of earthquake risk mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery were also discussed to be addressed in the work plan of NGOs. Moreover, the necessary supports in these areas to be provided by NDMO, municipalities and other disaster management institutions were also introduced by participants.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
